DIONYSUS PRESS STATEMENT

Dionysus Press is dedicated to the publication of limited edition artist’s books that are hand printed and bound. The titles survey social issues by way of whimsical and satirical photo essays via tactile text and rich imagery.

Books published by the Dionysus Press imprint are in the permanent collections of both public and private institutions including the Whitney Museum of Art, The Getty Research Institute, The Flaxman Library of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University Library and Stanford University Special Collections.

In 2011 Dionysus Press released two editions, age-specific, a boxed set of accordion fold books and Terragni, boxed set of prints originally photographed in 1986.
